Stan Emery

Stan Emery is a native of Colorado, an avid runner, and founder of Marathon Wealth Advisor. A graduate of Colorado State University, due to his demonstrated commitment and hard work, Stan was voted MVP of the CSU Cross-Country team in 1991. And he held the school record for the indoor 3000 meter run for several years. Today, Stan continues to carry the torch of the focus and discipline necessary for a successful student athlete in a division-one program all the way to his thriving financial advising business. 

Applying the same energy and passion that he has for running, Stan Emery launched his life-long journey in financial services and investment management in 1994. With nearly 30 years' experience in the financial industry, Stan knows that achieving financial success also requires discipline and and firm commitment to your financial goals. For this reason, he is dedicated to continuing his education in the financial industry and leading his team of clients to success. Over the years, Stan has achieved series 6, 7, and 66 licenses as well as the AIF® (Accredited Investment Fiduciary) designation, which holds advisors to a high fiduciary standard.

Stan is happily married to Julie, his wife of 15 years, and together they have 3 children, Caleb, Noah, and Maya. In addition to his committed family life, Stan still absolutely loves getting out and running the trails in the foothills of Fort Collins.
